Their Goal
Due to the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, Science Intuition were forced to move their tutoring online. Therefore they needed to generate leads For their first online grade 12 Physical Science masterclass.
Our Challenge
The Facebook and Instagram campaign had only 1 month to run just before the matric final exams.
What We Did - The Solution
Due to the objective given and the small time frame to generate leads, we opted for a direct response approach for the campaign strategy to generate leads quickly. 
We then retargeted people who visited the landing page but did not fill in the lead-form and those who engaged with our ads but did not fill in the lead-form.  
The lead information was then given to the Science Intuition Sales team to nurture and close the leads through email and WhatsApp.
  • To start, we geo-targeted specific areas where a majority of their offline students would reside as well as new markets.
  • We created retargeting audiences based on those who visited the landing page and interacted with our ads but did not fill in the form
  • Used lookalike audience of those who visited the landing page.
After diving deep into the psychographic data of Science Intuition’s audience of 17-19-year-olds, for the first part of the campaign, we created ads that:
  • Capture attention early
  • Highlight the value proposition quickly
  • Feel like the content they enjoy consuming daily / “doesn’t feel like an ad”( gen z’s hate ads)
When it came to retargeting, we used video ads that further enforced the value proposition and used testimonials from previous students as social proof to get students to take action.
